The second day of Dreamer’s academy was filled with inspirational moments as dreamer’s began the day with a performance by the Ceremonial Cleansing Worshppers (The CCW). The dance group comprised of performers who range in age from 5-20 whose goal is to build a child’s self confidence which in return will assist them in making the right decision in life and believing that they will make an impact in the world. The African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) honored the special achievements of iconic actress Cicely Tyson, vanguard film studio Screen Gems and the renowned Pan African Film Festival during its Special Achievement Awards Luncheon held at the California Yacht Club in Marina del Rey, CA. The organization also introduced its Ashley Boone Award, named for the pioneering former president at Fox Studios, which will be presented to Will Packer and Rob Hardy of Rainforest Films.
